Srinagar is a city in the northern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the largest city and the summer capital of the state. Srinagar is known for its stunning natural beauty, including the Dal Lake, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh, as well as its houseboats and shikaras (gondola-like boats). The city is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, making it a popular tourist destination for trekking, skiing, and adventure sports. Srinagar is also famous for its traditional hand-woven carpets, paper machie, and hand-embroidered shawls. Despite being a peaceful city, Srinagar has faced political and social unrest in recent decades.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival at Srinagar – Pahalgam

A meet and greet has been arranged for you at the airport. Your personalized chauffeur cum guide will welcome you at arrival. The journey will take around 1 and half hour and you should visit famous Awantipora Ruins and Saffron fields on the way. Awantipora ruins are known for being ancient Hindu temples during the reign of King Avantiman who ruled during AD 855-833. If you are in Pahalgam and have not visited the Baisaran valley famously called Mini Switzerland then you have seen nothing. A word of caution though, you will have to use ponies to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there. You should not miss the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam club, Children’ Park and Zoo is a must. Enjoy your evening on the bank of river lidder and calm your nerves with the soothing sound of flowing water. Check in to your hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.

Day 2

Pahalgam – Srinagar

Drive back to Srinagar with fond memories of south Kashmir. Covering a distance of over 100 km in 2 hours check in to your houseboat. Relax and loosen up your muscles for a famous dal lake. Our driver will guide you to the Shikara wala who will enthrall you with the mesmerizing shikara ride of dal lake. You should definitely ask him to take you to Char Chinar and Kabootar ghar which lie in the center of Dal lake as a small Island. A trip to Srinagar without visiting Mughal gardens is incomplete. Mesmerize yourself with the Mughal Gardens of Emperor Shahjahan which include Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and Cheshmashahi Garden. For those who are devotee of Lord Shiva, a visit to the Shankar Acharya Temple is a must. It is strategically located on top of a hill. Get the spiritual vibes from a 2500 year old temple and simultaneously muse your eyes with the beautiful whole Dal lake view. On the way you could also visit the famous Pari Mahal known primarily for being the musical court of Mughal King Shah Jahan. Retire back to the hotel for dinner and night stay. Check in your houseboat and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.

Day 3

Manali – Kullu – Chandigarh (320Kms. / 09 Hrs).

A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Sonmarg. Drive to Sonmarg for your day trip. You should visit Thajiwas glacier. You will have to use ponies to reach the glacier. You should also visit fish point in Sonmarg for a small boat ride and zorbing ball. If you have a nick for water and heights then white water rafting and trekking is a must in Sonmarg. Check in to your hotel with a vivid memory of Kashmir for an overnight stay. Appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed.

Day 4

Sonmarg - Gulmarg

Wake up early, energize yourself with a heavy breakfast and start your day for a day journey to Gulmarg which is a 2 hour drive through the meadows and mountains. On the way you could take a halt at tangmarg for refreshment. Get a tour of Gulmarg greenery which includes a visit to the Golf Club, Maharaja Palace, Strawberry valley, Nageen Valley. It is a shame if we come to Gulmarg and don’t enjoy the highest cable rope car in the world famously known as Gondola. It can take you up to the height of 16, 000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerize you with the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. If you have a knack for winter sports then you could buckle up yourself for snow skiing, sledging, snow bikes and ATV bikes. Drive back to Srinagar for your night stay, Appease your hunger with international cuisine and retire to your bed.

Day 5

Gulmarg – Srinagar

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Srinagar and drop at Airport departure

Refund Policy

Refunds (if any) for amendments and/or cancellations will be paid by the Company only after receiving written request from the customer within TEN days from the date of the scheduled completion of the tour (as per the Itinerary). Refund will be the sole discretion of the Company & shall be made by the Company only after deducting applicable cancellation charges. Any refunds, whether payment received in Indian rupees or foreign exchange, will be affected in Indian Rupees only at the prevailing Foreign Exchange buying rate. All refunds will be processed once the respective service provider has given the credit. Refund will be strictly remitted to respective customer account

Cancellation/No-Show Policy

As per the booking conditions of the tour, The Cancellation charges will be applicable for any cancellation request of the tour, either by the customer or any member of the group. This will be Intimated at the time of booking. In any other Case,including ‘No Show’, the Company shall make no Refund to the customer.
